I love you. I really do.
Your dogs are adorable, your cats melt my heart, your emojis are chaotic, and some of my favourite people live just south of the border. But as of August 29, 2025, shipping to the U.S. just got a whole lot messier.
The TL;DR:

🎨 Digital courses = still available
📦 Canadian orders = carry on, eh?
Thanks to some new policy changes (hi, U.S. Executive Order 14324 👋), every single package crossing into the States—even a $5 paintbrush—now has to be cleared with prepaid duties up front. We’re talking 35% tariffs on most items, mountains of paperwork, and a Declaration ID just to get your package out the door.
I wish I were joking. I’m not.
So, here’s the deal:
As a small Canadian business, I just can’t absorb the costs, or the headache, of these new shipping requirements right now. And I can’t stomach the idea of charging YOU for it.
So starting August 23, I’m hitting pause on all U.S. orders for physical products.
My digital offerings? Still good.
My empathy for your current predicament? Still deep.
My love for you? Still strong.
But my patience for red tape? That expired at customs.
I hope to resume U.S. shipping when things settle down and the powers-that-be realize artists and pet lovers probably weren’t the economic threat they meant to target.
In the meantime, go hug a postal worker. And if you’re feeling rebellious, write your congressperson a strongly worded letter… in glitter gel pen.✨
